BEGAFILM is a project of Plenk Media und Verlag GmbH & Co. KG, based in Berchtesgaden. It builds on an extensive private film archive whose historical footage is digitised, contextualised and published.

All documentaries are free to watch on the YouTube channel youtube.com/@BEGAFILM available – with no sign-up and no subscription fees.

Over the years, BEGAFILM has conducted exclusive interviews with the last surviving eyewitnesses of the Second World War — including Herbert Döhring (estate manager at the Berghof), Rochus Misch (telephone operator in the Führerbunker) and Fritz Darges. Many of these voices can no longer be heard today; the interviews are unique sources for historical research.
